"Search, Plus Your World" - The Personal Google Experience

GoogleYesterday, on the company's official blog, Google engineer Amit Singhal expressed a vision of “transforming Google into a search engine that understands not only content, but also people and relationships.”

The transformation to which he is referring appeared in the form of a major update entitled “Search, Plus Your World”. Rolled out to a limited portion of users, specifically those signed in to Google.com, the developments are geared towards results personalisation, building upon the social search aspects the company introduced back in 2009.

Google+ Now Allow Multiple Admins on a Company Page

Google has made that all-important change to allow multiple admins to Google+ company pages, meaning more than one employee (up to 50 to be precise!) can control the Google+ page.

Google+ can now be managed by multiple usersIt was announced on a Google+ update back in December that pages representing a company or firm would be able to be edited by the whole company instead of the single ‘owner’ of the page – making our lives just that bit easier .You can now delegate up to 50 named ‘managers’ as administrators for a company profile, inviting them via email address. We are also to believe that a Google+ profile functionality to do this will be rolled out to the masses soon. (more...)
