Building a good quality, high-performing website involves a lot of stages, but our website build process has been developed to ensure our clients are kept involved every step of the way.

We give you control - We try and make all aspects of the site manageable from the CMS/WMS making updates and changes to the site easy

The first stage of the website build process is to review your current website (if you have one) and compare its design and performance to your competitors.  After this, we will schedule a meeting with you to go through our findings and ascertain your website build requirements.

After discussing your requirements we will produce a design brief and a technical specification detailing exactly what is needed to build a website for your business. The specification will be a detailed document that provides both us and you with a clear brief of the agreed website build requirements.

As soon as the briefs and specifications are signed off, our in-house designers will produce a visual of how your new site will look. This will be a ‘first draft’ and is sent to you so you can provide feedback, ask questions and suggest any edits you require. Only when you are happy with the design will we move forward to the next stage of the website build process.

Once you are happy with the website design we will create (X)HTML templates and build the style sheets (CSS) for the site. A number of style sheets will be produced for each device that they will be used on. For example, when printing a website page it will look different to the website with the navigation menus removed. The templates will comply with the disability discrimination act and will work on screen readers for people with visual impairments.

When we build a website, we use our own content management system called Reflex. The Reflex CMS is a highly powerful and easy-to-use system which will allow you to add and edit page text content, upload images and other files to your site, control the navigational menus and manage the forms and database content on your site.  Click here for more information on our content management system.

When we build a website we always keep SEO in mind. Once the site is working our system will create regular XML sitemaps that we will submit to the search engines - ensuring every important page is indexed and ready to be displayed in search results. We will also add the Google Analytics tracking code for you as well as set-up a Google Webmasters Tools account.  Our website build projects also benefit from our wide range of SEO services.

Before your website goes live, we carry out rigorous website testing – making sure all of the functionality of your site is working correctly.  From payment gateways to form submissions, we make sure your site is totally ready before completing the project.
